Main Sectors and Legal Services

Experienced and Specialized Advice on the Free Trade Zone Regime:

EY Law has advised multiple foreign and national companies, mostly highly know multinationals, both in the manufacturing and shared services sectors, for its operations under the Free Trade Zone Regime, including its benefits, regulations and compliance, and the entire operational aspects on the whole spectrum (application to the Regime, Tax and Accounting Support, advice on Transfer Pricing, compliance with obligations derived from the Regime, and Customs & International Trade matters).

We provide the legal and fiscal advice to establish operations under this Regime in Costa Rica, but also, the clients receive a complete and integrated accompaniment throughout the process of establishing the operation, including areas that are necessary and complementary to the set-up of operations in the corporate, commercial, labor, real estate, environmental and digital law realms.

Through its global reach, EY Law’s multidisciplinary teams provide effective cross-border legal counsel to its clients, procuring effective solutions to multi-jurisdictional challenges by rendering a uniform and consolidated approach.
