San Jose, Costa Rica. October 10, 2022. CINDE – the foreign investment promotion agency in Costa Rica – started the largest multilingual job fair in the country in virtual mode. The edition for this 2022 has been named Multilingual Job Fair by CINDE, with a user-friendly, accessible platform that boasts 5,000 jobs available from the 40 participating companies.

www.cindejobs.com, running from October 10 through October 16, with the added feature that users are able to apply 24 hours a day and can also find tools to strengthen their professional and personal profiles.

This edition of the Multilingual Job Fair by CINDE is free of charge and provides the possibility of locating formal, quality job opportunities as well as provides tools so people are able to strengthen the strategic skills that are highly appreciated by the sectors that generate the most jobs in the country,” assured Vanessa Gibson, the CINDE Investment Climate Director.
Multilingual Job Fair by CINDE offers free virtual chats focusing on developing strategic skills, professional growth, and ongoing learning. In addition, there is a section with articles on trending issues and information about each one of the participating companies.
Multilingual ComponentIdioma Internacional is joining as a strategic partner for applying, online and free of charge, the BELT language tests in English, French, and Portuguese. These tests certify the language level based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which is the most wildly used standard in the world.
This way, the recruitment process is made faster by moving the candidates closer to job positions depending on how well they master foreign languages.

The people who register at the fair must mandatorily take the English test while the French and Portuguese tests are optional. The test may be taken from any device; however, it is recommended to use a computer in a quiet space, use headphones, and have a stable Internet connection.
How do you register and apply for a vacancy?The basic requirements for participating in this virtual fair are: to be older than 18 and have either a Costa Rican identification card or a Costa Rican residency card. Those interested can visit
www.cindejobs.com, where they should enter their data, upload their curriculum vitae, and take the BELT language test. Once this process has ended, users may visit the available positions by the company and find out more about them.
“People who have participated in the fair during other editions have the option to update their profiles, while new users should create a profile from zero with the advantage that the platform is very interactive and has support channels if needed. The process does not end by updating or creating a profile, although after having done so, users must check the positions that each company offers and thereby apply for the post that they most identify with,” added the CINDE Investment Climate Director.
