Bill Gosling Outsourcing Expands its Operations in Costa Rica to Deliver More Services to Canadian Clients
- The Canadian company has announced the second growth of its footprint in Costa Rica during 2023.
- The service sector will be reinforced with the creation of 500 new job openings to be filled in the next 4 months.
Monday, October 9, 2023. Bill Gosling Outsourcing (BGO) Costa Rica continues to make a difference in the contact center industry by expanding its services to more customers in Canada. This was recently confirmed by the company, which provides services to fintech, bank, financial institution, e-commerce, retail, and automobile industries and public services.
BGO plans to triple the number of Canadian customers it serves from Costa Rican soil which translates into the creation of 500 new job openings in our country. This is made possible by the expertise gained in financial technology collections and the addition of new clients, including a Canadian automotive financing firm, an emergency roadside assistance organization, and most recently, a new utility client.
“We are enthused by the changing market,” stated David Clements, vice president of operations at Bill Gosling Outsourcing Costa Rica.
“The extensive preparation of the local work force in education, skills, understanding of the North American culture, and one thing we feel even more valuable, the ability of Costa Ricans to speak French, enabling Canadian companies that had not outsourced much outside their country to open their doors now to solutions in other countries - specifically in Costa Rica. BGO is extremely excited to continue its growth and expansion with this breakthrough.”
CINDE Managing Director Marianela Urgellés added,
“We are pleased to have been a strategic partner for BGO since its arrival in Costa Rica and now with its sustained growth in our country. The company’s expansion of openings based on the capacities of Costa Rican talent, and especially on their command of more than two languages, reaffirms the importance to the country of concentrating measurable efforts on strengthening bilingualism as an enabling factor giving Costa Ricans access to better employment opportunities.
Urgellés also added, “BGO has already surpassed 1,200 employees after its first job openings at the beginning of 2023. With these 500 new openings the company is expected to continue fortifying its more than 24 business lines in markets such as the United States and now, essentially, Canada.”
