Companies to Begin Recruiting After Third Edition of CINDE’s JobLink Virtual Talent Fair
• 36 multinationals participated in the initiative, which was available for two weeks.
• Companies will be hiring employees to the end of the year.
San José, August 24, 2020. The third virtual JobLink multilingual talent fair, organized by the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (
CINDE), ended on August 21st, with 22,500 registered participants.
From now, the companies will take two to three weeks to apply the first selection filters to candidates meeting the job requirements and to begin the formal recruitment processes.
From August 10-21st, the
joblink.cr platform was available for participating companies to announce their different job openings, mainly in business administration, accounting, IT, software development, web development, graphic design, quality, economics, electronics, electromechanics, project management, human resources, engineering, logistics and supply chain, animation, manufacturing, mechanics, communications, public relations, marketing, technical support, customer service, and sales, as well as many others.
“The third edition of JobLink offered 3,000 jobs in more than 400 job categories. This virtual talent fair is one of CINDE’s efforts to give more Costa Ricans an opportunity to find a formal job with the multinational companies that the organization has brought into the country for decades,” commented Vanessa Gibson, Investment Climate Director at CINDE.
Language Tests
The JobLink application process included BELT test certifications in English, Portuguese, and French provided by the company Idioma Internacional.
By August 21st’s morning cutoff, more than 10,300 people had taken the English test, 611 the Portuguese test, and 266 the French test.
