CRx Life Sciences prepares an expansion that will enhance the life sciences industry in the region, doing everything from Costa Rica

The company celebrates 5 years in the country pioneering in specialized engineering and consulting services for medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology multinationals.
The life sciences sector has more than 90 companies, that as of October 2023 have exported more than $6 billion.
For its anniversary, CRx Life Sciences will provide a free virtual conference called "FDA Inspections: What to Expect and How to Prepare," given by Larry Spears, who has over 34 years in senior roles at the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

San Jose Costa Rica. November 27, 2023. As part of its fifth anniversary celebrations, CRX Life Sciences announced the expansion of its operations in Costa Rica which will provide a significant boost to improve, design and transfer processes and products to other multinationals in the life sciences sector including medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Originally from the United States, CRX Life Sciences is a leader in the provision of engineering services, advice on regulatory compliance processes, project management, R&D and quality management, thus covering the entire production cycle.

“We are the main provider of consulting services for the life sciences sector in the region with a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and best market practices and that is what has allowed us to identify current gaps in the industry that can be covered by our current and future team. 2024 will be a year of expansion for CRx Life Sciences", said Juan Carlos Rodríguez, Director of Operations, LATAM.

In turn, Marianela Urgellés, General Director of CINDE expressed: “CRx Life Sciences continued its expansion process in Costa Rica bringing new capabilities to the region, including accelerating validation processes, root cause analysis and cost savings programs. These areas currently depend on capabilities outside the region, therefore reducing time and costs while benefiting the entire industry.”

The company is located in the Coyol Free Zone and its growth represents an increase in 1500 m2 as well as in its payroll of around 60%.

On November 30, CRx Life Sciences will offer a free virtual conference called "FDA Inspections: What to Expect and How to Prepare." This will be given by Larry Spears, who over 34 years of experience at the FDA, serving in senior compliance roles, including Director of Compliance and Deputy Director of Regulatory Affairs.

This event is aimed at companies in the life sciences industry, public and private universities, suppliers and business chambers. The modality will be virtual from 10am to 11am.
