San José, Costa Rica. February 24, 2023. Huntsman Corporation (NYSE: HUN), a global chemicals company, opened its Global Business Services (GBS) center for the Americas region in Costa Rica today with the inauguration of its offices in
America Free Zone, Heredia.

The company arrived in Costa Rica on August 2022, and currently, its new global service center has about 60 employees. The center will support the company's operations, with a focus on activities in the Americas region in addition to certain global activities, optimizing its performance in terms of cost, service, and efficiency. Huntsman expects to reach approximately 100 people by the end of this year.
