Hakkoda announced that it will establish operations in Costa Rica, from where it will offer
cloud services, including specialized services in Snowflake, data governance, automated or
machine learning, and application development. Services will be provided in English, as they are destined for the U.S. market.
The company began operations last September and currently employs staff in the United States and Costa Rica, with plans to grow to 300 employees in Costa Rica.
Hakkoda was founded on the principle of identifying data importance to businesses, while at the same time supporting the need to accelerate the data value chain and extend it beyond reporting.
According to Erik Duffield, CEO y co-founder of Hakkoda: “Hakkoda’s impact on our clients relies on experienced, passionate team members. Costa Rica is strategic to Hakkoda in providing skilled talent that is in the same time zone as our clients and can engage with them directly to leverage data to solve their biggest challenges.”
The company seeks staff with skills in data engineering, analytics, and machine learning, as well as an ability to work with large data sets in the cloud, data integration, and SQL / Python / Scala scripting.
