Hologic Costa Rica is recognized as Manufacturer of the Year by the Manufacturing Leadership Council
During the 2020-2021 period, one of the most challenging in history,
Hologic Costa Rica was the winner of three awards at the Manufacturing Leadership Awards Gala. The Manufacturing Leadership Council is the first business leadership network, headquartered in the United States and with a global impact, dedicated to promoting the identification of improvements and opportunities created by transformational digital technologies in operation, sustainable operational excellence, organization, and development leadership of companies in manufacturing companies. The awards are held annually and renowned manufacturing companies from around the world participate.
Hologic Costa Rica has been chosen as the winner, in the category of small / medium-sized companies, of one of the greatest recognitions of the gala, that of Leading Manufacturer of the year 2021.
This recognition is given to manufacturing companies that have repeatedly obtained significant achievements in the various categories of the Manufacturing Leadership Awards. Companies are chosen for seeking continuous improvement in their processes, that apply advanced technology for growth towards new markets in a sustainable way and that foster a culture of commitment in their leaders and collaborators.
Nilo Caravaca, Vice President of Operations for CR and LATAM, states: “For me, the Manufacturing Leadership Council (MLC) manufacturer of the year award in the small / medium business category means an industry recognition of the great work that has been developing, for many years now, the incredible Hologic team together with its leadership. Additionally, Hologic Costa Rica was also the winner of the Talent Management category with the project: Building a Talent Management System for a 4.0 Medical Device Company in Costa Rica, which recognizes companies that seek to create and reinforce a culture of commitment and well-being for its collaborators.

Another of the awards obtained in 2021 was in the Supply Chain category, for the project "Supply Chain: Impacting lives, Every Day", which seeks the optimization of processes related to the supply chain and the significant reduction of costs considering market conditions.
